Michael Nugent lived for 5 years at the renown Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida,U.S.A. home to the best tennis players the sport has ever seen including Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras and Jim Courier to name just a few. Michael has been involved in tennis for 30 years and has worked to develop Irish tennis to the highest standard. Not only has he played in Wimbledon but he has also coached 3 of Ireland’s best juniors to make it to Wimbledon. Michael was a member of the ATP and played the tour for 5 years. Micheal was one of the youngest ever players to have represented Ireland at Davis Cup at the age of just 16. Micheal has had numerous coaching posts over the last number of years, including working with the Leinster branch. Currently resident pro at Malahide Tennis Club as well as Senior Pro at NZone Tennis Academy.
